Upcoming Speaking Engagements
Words cannot express how honored I was whenLEAP --a prominent non-profit organization that has positively changed the lives of many students in New Haven-- asked me to be a guest of honor at their February 26th LEAP Year fundraising dinner. Past guests have included NY Times columnists, chefs, and Pulitzer Prize nominated poets.
In March, I'm heading out west to the University of Wisconsin at Madison to give a talk about strategies for increasing diversity in higher education recruitment.
Lastly, I am so psyched that Long Wharf Theater tapped NY Times journalist Laura Pappano and I to co-chair the 50th Anniversary Gala, featuring Audra McDonald. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here.
